基督教文學學程
Christian Literature Program

Unique in Taiwan’s educational community, our program emphasis on Christian literature introduces authors and works recognized worldwide in the Christian community. Works studied range from early classics to 21st century writings, from Augustine to C. S. Lewis. Genre includes poetry, biography, fiction, journals, songs, and devotional material. Students in this program are encouraged to explore the literature of Christian faith, to deepen their own Christian character through personal application and reflection, and to build community through meaningful interaction. A student graduating in this program needs to take a total of 128 credits: 60-63 required CLA core credits, at least 5-8 general elective credits,  42 required English major credits, and 6 of the following program courses (18 credits): ENG 271 Storytelling, ENG 235 World Novels, LIT 237 Children’s Literature, ENG 335 American Novels, LIT 337 Spiritual Classics, LIT 339 Christian Themes in Children’s Literature, LIT 435 British Novels, LIT 437 Works of C. S. Lewis, LIT 439 Contemporary Christian Literature.

國際企業學程
International Business Studies Program

This degree program allows English majors to develop the special skills needed to communicate effectively in an international business environment and prepares them to pursue an MBA degree from an English-language graduate institution. The IBS program requires a total of 128 credit hours: 60-63 required CLA core credits, at least 5-8 general elective credits, 42 required English major credits, a series of 6 of the 10 IBS program courses (18 credits): MGT 101 Management, ENG 261 & ENG 361 Business English I & II, ECO 233 Microeconomics, ECO 333 Macroeconomics, MGT 305 Marketing, MGT 491 Business Practicum I, & MGT 493 Business Practicum II, MGT 306 International Marketing, and MGT 201 Human Resource Management.

TESOL Program

This program helps students to develop the skills needed to teach English to young learners. The program is also designed to prepare students to study for an M.A. in TESOL at an English-medium graduate institution. The TESOL program consists of a sequence of six courses, including a two-semester teaching practicum. The TESOL program requires a total of 128 credits: 60-63 required CLA core credits, at least 5-8 general elective credits, 42 required English major credits, and a sequence of 6 of the 7 TESOL program courses (18 credits): LIT 237 Children's Literature, ELT 271 TESOL Methods I, ELT 371 TESOL Methods II, ELT 373 Storytelling and Curriculum Design, ELT 481 TESOL Practicum I, ELT 483 TESOL II, and ELT 335 Introduction to Linguistics

應用英文學程
Applied English

Each program in the English Major at Christ’s College Taipei equips students to meet the demands of the 21st century by developing teamwork, leadership, specific professional skills and the ability to communicate cross-culturally in English. The Applied English program is designed for students who prefer a more flexible curriculum that combines electives from different programs. Such students would benefit from a combination of the Christian Literature, TESOL and IBS electives. The Applied English program requires a total of 128 credits: 60-63 required CLA core credits, at least 5-8 general elective credits, 42 required English major credits, and 6 additional English Major elective courses (18 credits) of the student’s choice.
